CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – February 29, 2012 –Starting Monday March 5, 2012, the Sac and Fox Trail from Rosedale Road SE to just south of Mt. Vernon Road SE, will be closed for an extended period of time for sanitary sewer construction. Detour signs will be posted to use Rosedale Road SE.
Update: Due to pre-paving work, the Hoover trail is closed as of Tuesday, May 8th. The trail will be closed through Wednesday, May 16th, depending on weather. 76th Ave is scheduled to be closed to thru traffic on Wednesday, May 9th for a paving project. Cedar Valley Nature Trail in Buchanan and Black Hawk Counties: Trail between Brandon and La Porte City is closed due to the 2008 flood. Bridge is out. Use County Rd D48. Trail across Cedar River near Evansdale has been replaced and is now open.
