The poor weather has delayed the beginning of construction for a week.  It is now scheduled to start on 9/14/2020 and last one week.  The Hoover trail south of 76th is now reported to be passable all the way to Ely.

A culvert replacement just north of 76th Ave. Dr. SW will keep this portion of the trail closed till at least Friday 9/11/2020. The trail south to Wright Bros has also been reported to have tree debris on it as well, making it currently impassable.

Linn County Conservation has reported in their most recent email newsletter that the majority of the Cedar Valley Nature Trail and Grant Wood Trails are passable.
The Hoover Trail (continues path of the CVNT at 76th Ave. Dr. SW)between 76th Ave Dr. and Wright Brothers Blvd remains closed until the heavy equipment is freed up from other clean-up efforts. The paving along Ely Rd does have a paved shoulder, but caution should be used if riding around the closure with traffic.
