RECYCLING OUTDOOR GEAR
The Indian Creek Nature Center and the Cedar Wapsi Chapter of the Sierra Club need your help putting outdoor gear to good use. Odds are that tents, backpacks, fishing poles, binoculars, skis, and other outdoor gear is gathering dust in your attic or garage. If you haven’t used it for a few years, chances are you won’t ever use it again……..so please help get it to people who will use and enjoy it. Bring your donated gear to the Nature Center after November 1.
The two organizations will hold a silent auction and chili lunch from 12-2 on Sunday, November 18. They invite you to come and enjoy a diversity of chili and bid on outdoor equipment you will use. This is a way to recycle gear and is a fund raiser for both organizations.
For information contact the Nature Center at 362-0664 or check their website at www.indiancreeknaturecenter.org.
